ASU Physics Student to Spend Summer at Fermilab

Physics student Crystal Patteson has been selected for the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship program at Fermilab. She will spend this summer working there on the MicroBooNE experiment - a large (approximately 100-ton) liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber located on the Booster neutrino beam line. The experiment will measure low energy neutrino cross sections and investigate the low energy excess events observed by the MiniBooNE experiment. (See http://www-microboone.fnal.gov for details.)
