Dr. Thomas recently took part in a kids physics show at the Watauga County Public Library. The public was welcome to this event, and with a total of 35 people present at the event, they were mostly 1st graders. Dr. Thomas showed them a mixture of demonstrations ranging from mechanics to fluid dynamics to electricity. All visitors of the event had a great time learning physics! The department hosts a multitude of events like this every year where students can partake in demo shows.
