Several members of ASU's P&A department helped to coordinate and facilitate the 7th annual NC Gravity Games in Lenoir, NC. Seventy-four teams raced soapbox derby cars down the streets of downtown Lenoir. At the same time, there was a "big top" tent hosting many interactive science booths for participants and the community to experience science.
Our department added booths in solar observation, squishy electric circuits, solar cooking and the ASU Team Sunergy solar vehicle. It was a great event to excite a love of science in these middle and high school students!
